Registration will open on Friday January 31, 2025. And will close on March 31, 2025.
Registration is done completely online via Jot Form. The form has the ability to save and continue later. The 2025 Festival Info Packet is an excellent resource.

Is there a school fee for 2025?
Yes. The school fee is $100.
When Does registration Close?
The deadline to complete the online registration is Monday, March 31st. Payment must be sent and made by March 31st. Checks must be postmarked by March 31st. If registration materials or payment is not received by those dates, your school may no longer eligible to attend the festival and registration will be voided. Late fees may also apply.
Is there an early bird pricing?
No.
I AM A TEACHER, i don't understand...my student's can register without me?
No. Only teachers can register students for the festival.
What types of payment do you accept?
After completing registration, payment will need to be made.

Can adults attend the festival?
Adult auditor attendees are permitted. Each adult attendee is provided with the ability to view Opening and Closing ceremony, audit workshops, and view performances. Adult attendees will NOT receive Professional Development Credits for attending the festival.
what type of payment is accepted?
A check and/or purchase order payable to NJ Thespians and mail no later than March 14, 2025 with a printed invoice to: Carolyn Little (NJ Chapter Director), 700 Beachwood Boulevard, Beachwood NJ 08722.

I AM A STUDENT, CAN I REGISTER WITHOUT MY SCHOOL?
No.
WHAT IF MYSELF, OR ONE OF MY STUDENTs is disabled?
NJ Junior Thespians is constantly striving to accommodate the needs of all festival participants. If an attendee is visually impaired, hearing impaired, or has any learning or developmental disabilities, it is the responsibility of the school to notify NJ Jr. Thespians if suitable accommodations need to be made. NJ Junior Thespians is unable to fill everyone's requests, but we do make an effort to do so. We are unable to provide closed captioning at this time for workshops and Opening and Closing ceremony.
Can you help me? i have a lot of questions and i don't even know where to start.

Can i substitute attendees after i register?
No. Participant substitutions for the festival are not permitted. Additional participants may not be
added, and participants who drop from attending the festival without a substitution
are non-refundable. After completing and submitting registration, all participant names are final.

New Jersey Thespians Online Events Consent
I understand I am giving consent to participate in the NEW JERSEY THESPIANS EVENTS at the festival. I understand that my photo or video may be used from my participation in the festival, by the New Jersey Chapter and that I should be following the Conduct Guidelines at every event I attend.
I. RELEASE The undersigned hereby releases and agrees to indemnify, save and hold harmless the New Jersey Thespians, the International Thespian Society, the Educational Theatre Association, Zoom, and all respective officers, employees, agents and representatives of the aforementioned entities ( each an “Organizer” and collectively the “Organizers”) from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of actions, losses, liabilities, judgments, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from the Delegate listed above participating in any online or in person event. The undersigned shall give each Organizer prompt written notice of any claim or facts or circumstances that might give rise to any claim for indemnification. In the event of an in person gathering, the undersigned further agrees to be responsible for Delegate while traveling to and from the Chapter Event, including any expenses incurred by the Delegate, caused by the Delegate, and/or any personal injuries which may occur to the Delegate. The undersigned authorizes the Delegate to be released to the Troupe Director or Chaperone listed on this form.
II. RULES AND REGULATIONS The undersigned agrees that the Delegate shall abide by the New Jersey Thespian Zoom guidelines security rules and regulations (as described in detail and attached to this document). The undersigned understands that, if the Delegate violates any of the New Jersey Thespian online guides, security rules and regulations, the Delegate may be banned from attending any future New Jersey Thespian events, and the undersigned (or other parents and/or legal guardians) may be financially responsible for all necessary costs incurred due to the infraction. The undersigned also understands that the New Jersey Thespian registration fees cannot be refunded.
III. PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE The undersigned irrevocably consents to being photographed or being recorded by means of video or audio tape recording by the Organizers, or a designated representative of the Organizers. These photographs and/or recordings can be used, without compensation to the undersigned and/or the Delegate, in any public display, publication or media, or website, or in any manner or form, and at any time by the Organizers in promotion of the mission to promote the theatrical arts and have theatre arts recognized in all phases of education. The undersigned releases the Organizers, and their employees, agents, representatives, associates, Board of Directors members, and consultants from any liability in connection with the use of such photographic, video, and/or audio materials.

i am a teacher, how do i earn professional development credits?
All teachers are eligible to earn 6 hr PDCs. To earn your 6 hr PDCs, you must be present at the festival.
